By adding stone cladding and fitting Frameless glass balustrade we have totally transformed this tired old 1950s bungalow. The facia was extended out to make room for the stonework and produce a soffit. The soffit helps provide more of a feature and take away the flat unappealing appearance. New PVC facia, gutter and soffit complement the look.

Glass balustrades can be custom made to any height and configuration to satisfy nearly any application. The photos below show them being installed in a church in order to bring the original handrail up in line with current building regulations. In front of the organ the glass has been lifted to protect the operator from falling from their elevated platform. The use of glass in this application helps preserve the original design at the same time providing an unrestricted all round view for the audience.
